ACT OF SOLIDARITY: THE VISSIN FOUNDATION RESPONDS TO LADY TITI MADELEINE, MOTHER OF TRIPLETS’S CALL
Unable to remain insensitive to the momentum of solidarity that our time demands, the VISSIN Foundation has once again responded to the call. This time, it’s about a mother of triplet who has received financial support from the generous President Serge VISSIN and his Foundation. This act is a response to the call for help on social media from lady Madeleine TITI, a mother of three twins and a resident of the unsanitary Akpakpa Minonchou neighbourhood.
The Foundation’s delegation led by the Legal Adviser, Élie GBEDEMAKOU, visited the person concerned on Monday, October 28, 2019. The observation made at these places leaves speechless. The environment in which this worthy woman resides is not conducive to the well-being of her three children. A garbage dump that serves as shelter. Gauging the seriousness of the situation, especially the health risks faced by the three twins, the Foundation proposed to the mother in anxiety a relocation and care, offer that should be noted, declined by lady TITI . On the same track, its enlistment in one of the Foundation’s flagship projects, the project « full-blown woman,, home consolidated » was also in order; this in order to enable her, over time, to be self-sufficient.Declining this offer for reasons we keep quiet here, the VISSIN Foundation has donated a special package consisting of food, children’s clothing and a financial envelope.
Very pleased with this support, lady TITI Madeleine expressed her gratitude to President Serge VISSIN and his entire team.
The VISSIN Foundation is taking advantage of this niche to make a strong call to the political authorities, particularly the Government of Benin, through its Ministry of Health and the Ministry of the Family, to look more closely at the case of people living in areas like this. Because prevention is better than cure, especially in these rainy times. Solidarity is also everyone’s business.
VISSIN Foundation, together for the best, further and further.
