Christmas of the children: The VISSIN Foundation honors the big meeting

The first edition of the Children’s Christmas event with the VISSIN Foundation was effective Monday, December 24, 2018 at the headquarters of the Foundation in Calavi. More than two hundred children were given gifts, clothes, all accompanied by meals and drinks.

At the beginning of the event, Mrs. Gloria TEKA, Executive Director of the VISSIN Foundation, addressed her words of welcome to the parents and children present. She took the opportunity to explain to the guests the merits of such an initiative. According to her, Christmas children is initiated to share a moment of happiness with children in precarious situation. « It is also an opportunity for them to find themselves in a festive atmosphere, » says the Executive Director. According to the latter, the idea comes from the President of the Foundation, Serge VISSIN who has once again demonstrated his unreserved commitment to improving the living conditions of children lacking any support. She also took the opportunity to maintain assistance on the Foundation’s objectives and projects, particularly the EDUCATION + Project, launched in September 2018.

At the end of this exercise, a series of activities followed provided in the program of the event. Then, the dancing heart, Santa has distributed gifts to more than two hundred children selected for the cause. In the course of the rest of the activities, the guests of the Foundation gave themselves to the party with joy. The various animations that followed, cheered parents and children who did not fail to greet the Founding President, Serge VISSIN for this initiative. They wished him wholeheartedly full success in his projects.

This project, which will be running throughout Benin, especially in the poorest areas of the country, will experience its new destination in the coming days, always for the joy and happiness of children.
