EDUCATION + PROJECT: MONITORING/EVALUATION POINT

From 22 to 23 May 2019, the VISSIN Foundation delegations, led by the Special Adviser and Mission leader Elysée Tchibozo, travelled through several schools in Benin, as part of the monitoring/evaluation phase of the « Education + » project. These are the communes of Abomey-Calavi, Porto-Novo, Missérété, Avrankou, Abomey and Parakou.

On the whole, the Foundation’s small protected people regularly followed the courses and the fruits have brought the promise of flowers, according to the teachers’s say and the observations made by the mission through the transcripts. As for the parents and many of those responsible for these schools, they did not fail to show their acknowlegdment again to the Foundation. According to them, this project guarantees a sure future for these children who, in the past, were doomed to wander the streets.
As a reminder, the VISSIN Foundation, through its President and founder Serge VISSIN, initiated the present project in order to take over the schooling of children from the most disadvantaged strata of society. Based on a clean background, the grantees of the project will be monitored over a period of seven (07) years until their primary study certificate (CEP) is obtained. The challenges are great, thousands of others are waiting to be taken into account in order to get out of the chasm illiteracy and its consequences.

That is why, conscious that we cannot succeed alone, we are launching a vigorous call for solidarity, to humanitarian associations around the world, to people of goodwill, to the rulers and to all persons able of helping to overturn the bent to get closer to the VISSIN Foundation, so that together we will conjure up the fate of future generations. Let’s allow this project to improve and endure for the happiness of a winning Africa.
