In line with the vision of being more operational and effective in its actions, the VISSIN Foundation has initiated the process of developing its Strategic Plan (2021-2025). To this end, a strategic diagnostic workshop took place on Friday 04 September 2020 at the Foundation’s headquarters, to lay down the guidelines for the development of this essential tool. This workshop was an opportunity for all components of the Foundation to do an in-depth analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the organization. In detail, with the help of consultant Franz L. Okey and his collaborator Walid AGRO, a SWOT analysis of the Foundation, as well as the identification of their sources were carried out. The members of the Board of Directors, the Executive Board, the beneficiaries of the Foundation’s projects and the volunteers, the guests for the occasion, did not make reservations during the group work. Their commitment, during this workshop, reinforces President Serge VISSIN’s determination to endow the Foundation with a strategic plan. This document, it should be remembered, is a strategic tool that wishes the Foundation to better organize its actions, to be efficient in the implementation of its programs and to provide regular accountability.

The diagnostic workshop is the first in a series of activities included in the process of developing the strategic plan. The participants did not fail to show their satisfaction at the end and say they are ready to collaborate with the Consultant for the success of his mission.
